BRIARPATCH FARM CELEBRATES CHAMBER MEMBERSHIP
Briarpatch Farm welcomed members of the community and local business leaders to the farm on October 8 for a special Business After Hours celebration and official ribbon-cutting, hosted in partnership with the Greene, Putnam, and Baldwin Counties Chambers of Commerce.
The evening was a celebration of connection, partnership, and gratitude as Briarpatch Farm officially joined the local chambers and welcomed the business community to its farm. Surrounded by family, friends, neighbors, community leaders, fellow business owners, and local supporters, the event provided an opportunity to celebrate the farm’s heritage while looking ahead to new relationships and opportunities within Georgia’s Lake Country.
Guests enjoyed Briarpatch Farm Angus beef, gathered with fellow members of the local business community, and had the opportunity to learn more about the farm’s history, meet the team behind the operation, and experience firsthand the values that have guided Briarpatch Farm for generations.
“As a Georgia Centennial Farm, we are deeply committed to preserving our agricultural heritage while responsibly raising premium Black Angus beef,” said Mike Rainey, owner and farmer of Briarpatch Farm. “We strive to be good stewards of the land and cattle entrusted to our family. Our mission is to provide families with high-quality beef they can trust while honoring the land and carrying forward the legacy our family has worked so hard to preserve.”
Joining the Greene, Putnam, and Baldwin Counties Chambers of Commerce marks an exciting new chapter for Briarpatch Farm and reflects the farm’s commitment to being an active part of the local business community. The Business After Hours celebration was a meaningful opportunity to build connections, strengthen partnerships, and express appreciation for the community that has supported Briarpatch Farm along the way.
Briarpatch Farm extends a special thank you to the three local chambers for helping make the evening possible and to everyone who came out to celebrate. The farm is grateful for the continued support of its neighbors, customers, and community partners and looks forward to growing these relationships for years to come.
The ribbon cutting may have marked Briarpatch Farm’s official welcome into the chambers, but the evening was ultimately about something even more meaningful: celebrating community, building relationships, and saying thank you for the support that makes it possible for Briarpatch Farm to continue its legacy for generations to come.
