OUR BEEF
ANGUS BEEF
Our steers are thoughtfully and responsibly raised, free from added hormones to ensure the highest quality beef. They enjoy a natural, grass-fed diet, complemented by a carefully measured grain supplement. As they transition to the finishing lot, they are provided with full feed, a process that enhances marbling and delivers rich, tender, and flavor-packed beef, elevating every bite to a truly exceptional experience.
At Briarpatch Farm, we raise Black Angus steers on open pastures. Our steers spend their lives grazing the farm before being grain-finished for rich flavor and perfect marbling.
Our beef is responsibly raised with no added hormones, giving families confidence in where their beef comes from and how it was raised. For generations, our farm has focused on stewardship of the land and livestock, providing local families with beef they can trust.
We offer boxed beef bundles and bulk beef options, making it easy to stock your freezer with farm-raised beef from a local Georgia farm.
All orders are picked up directly at Briarpatch Farm, where customers are often greeted by Mike Rainey, owner and farmer, or Jill Boyer, farm manager. We value the relationships we build with the families who support our farm, and we love getting to know the people we are feeding right here in Putnam County and the Lake Oconee community.
Families throughout Putnam County, Lake Oconee, and across Georgia choose Briarpatch Farm for responsibly raised Black Angus beef and the confidence of knowing their farmer.
